This Association is for all Schools in Lancashire with golfers who have handicaps.

The Association was founded in 1981 to enable pupils to take part in inter School Golf Competitions and to then be eligible to compete in the North of England Schools Championships and the English Schools Golf Association Championship.
Team Competition 2016 - 2017
In 2016 a new Team Competition, replacing the old knock out took place, one in each of the North and South regions. The winners from each Area of this Competition represented Lancashire Schools at the English Schools Team Championships Finals in July, 2016. The winners were Baines High School and Standish High School were 3rd. Fantastic win from Baines.
Lancashire is split into 3 Regions, North, South East and East, and South West which all have a qualifying Competition in the Spring. The winners from each Region may be selected for the North of England Schools Championships, which is a 36 hole Scratch event.The top ten finishers in this event would then go onto the English Schools finals.
In June a U/15 Championship takes place, for pupils in Year 10 and below. Handicap limits here are 28 for boys and 36 for girls. The winners from this event may be selected to play in the English Schools U/16 finals.
In May the Lancashire Schools Championship is held for pupils on 18 handicap and under for boys, 36 and under for girls. This competition has individual and team trophies.
To be eligible to play in the competitions, pupils need to be in full time education and have a handicap of 28 and below for boys and 36 and below for girls.
